'StonePassage was born from a singular vision: to share true Neapolitan pizza with London. The Rossini family opened their doors in 1985, introducing a quaint, family-operated eatery that relied on recipes passed through the ages.
Marco Rossini, our patriarch, mastered pizza crafting while visiting Italy, learning from the top pizzaiolos in Naples—the original home of pizza. After returning to the UK, she set out to replicate the essence of traditional Italian pizza, embracing the age-old techniques and selecting only the best ingredients.
Our journey started with just a dozen seats in our humble pizzeria and has expanded into a well-known local enterprise. Despite the growth, our pledge to superb quality and genuine practices hasn't changed. Our wood-burning oven tradition endures, we prepare our dough from scratch every day, and we choose the best inputs available.
To this day, 'StonePassage' continues to be a family-led venture, with the second generation of the Rossini family now at the helm, leading a team of dedicated staff. Although we've adopted modern advancements, at our core we remain unchanged: forging delectable, real pizzas that unite people.
